New work environments of Allianz AG in Stuttgart Vaihingen

New work environments of Allianz AG in Stuttgart Vaihingen

In Stuttgart, a new building complex for Allianz AG is being built on a 170,000 m² area. The new headquarter will be completed in 2022 and offers work space for about 4,500 employees. The five buildings are grouped around a new public space. An old oak tree as living monument mark withal the new urban context with access to the nearby recreation area. A central entrance hall links three buildings incl. the single tower which acts as icon while the two other buildings can function independently.

An axial service and access route has been developed as part of a master plan for the area around the main railway station in Würzburg. At its western end a new student residence has now been built, comprising four individual blocks in a comb-shaped plan. The north side of the building runs parallel to the railway line, acting as an acoustic barrier. On the other side it opens up to the south with U-shaped courtyards overlooking a landscaped park.

Hainan BoAo Bio-Medical Regeneration Clinic and Research Center

The new Hainan BoAo Regeneration Clinic is combined with research and development, offices and residential buildings. The complex is imbedded in a new recreation green area close to the Wanquan River Bench. The formation of the medical facilities inpatient, polyclinic and Medical Centre provide direct connections and short ways to the multifunctional building cafeteria and rehabilitation center and the R&D. Direct views onto the lake enhance the recreation aspect for patients and users alike.

News & Innovations

When developing the design, we coordinate our work in a collaborative BIM model that is live, continually updated by designers and engineers and made available to all involved.
The coordinated ‘single source of truth’, combined with high availability, results in higher transparency, speeds up decision making and increases the overall efficiency of our project delivery.
The costs of design changes increase as the project progresses. We aim at detecting possible errors and conflicts of planning at an early stage so that design changes are less expensive.

The early involvement of all parties, who work simultaneously with us on the project and the efficient and transparent cooperation in one coordinated model, as well as the great visualizations, support the unobstructed execution at the construction site.
