How can we transfer residential living to the 21st century? That was our major goal for Carnaby Living House Berlin. It has now become Germanys first digital student dormitory.
This "Smart Building" is the first one of its kind with a fully automized real estate management and operation system. Its digital infrastructure combines hardware (e.g. smart meters, digital locks, postboxes) with an own software and app to meet the requirements of new tenant generations.
Opened in October 2018, 172 students moved in with digital contracts and an accompanied tenant app. CLHB is a new six floor KfW55 energy efficient building, designed by Bräunlin + Kolb and equipped with REOS.
