TOPOTEK 1 is a multidisciplinary office composed of a highly qualified international team of architects, landscape architects and urban designers. Working at the intersection of the fields of landscape architecture, urbanism, and architecture. TOPOTEK 1 considers itself a traveller that explores the fringe areas of typologies and scales. Each project strives to respond to the given context and programmatic necessities with a compelling concept, extraordinary design quality, and efficient implementation. Some of the studio’s key strategies for maintaining an awareness of and vital link to general contemporary discussion include the hybridization of topics and disciplines; the removal, transmission, and re-imagining of objects and design features from their original context to another; and the design and emplacement of scenographic sequences.
Superkilen is a heterogenous site-collage in a dense, centrally located neighbourhood in Copenhagen. The strongly international quarter with a mix of different cultures is to be revitalized using open space as a physical framework. At Superkilen, a new transfer of significative elements from other places gives meaning and ambience. Simultaneously, this transfer will reflect and engage the quarter’s urban reality. Superkilen is a contemporary, innovative urban version of a universal garden.
The key component for the new Concert Hall’s design is a new, independent solitaire that complements the existing ensemble - built in the 1960s - of the Meistersingerhalle in Nuremberg, Germany. Continuing the typological principle of the existing building and its integration into the landscape, this concept adds a new spatial and acoustic experience to the site. By highlighting a special relationship between equality and difference, this design enhances the qualities of both buildings.

Its objective is to give the site an identity with a distinct appearance.
