About us

BAID // Borchardt / Architektur / Interior / Design
With focus on exclusive residential buildings as well as modern office and business developments, BAID has realized numerous projects from the Hamburg office and all over Germany. Jessica Borchardt and her 25 employees strive to implement custom-made architecture which is consistently continued in interior design. Our planning process is an ongoing conversation with all stakeholders and our highest goal is to realize all requirements with quality and functionality, as well as economic efficiency and sustainability. Years of experience in competitions and the implementation of complex architectural projects with innovative design make for a reliable partnership: we value our clients highly and therefore have maintained long-lasting business relations with established developers and housing associations. Our latest projects include the headquarters for Ista International GmbH, DB Schenker AG and Aldi Nord in Essen and the renovation of Lufthansa Industry Solutions in Hamburg.

Products and services

The beginning of everything is the development of a guiding idea. This is achieved by taking into account all project-related framework conditions. We strive to do justice to the special character of the place and the purpose of the building. Our aim is to achieve the highest degree of simplicity and to have a plausible and appropriate result. Good proportions and an obvious combination of aesthetic features are just as important in this context as the consideration of technical aspects. When planning corporate spaces, internal structure and philosophy are reflected in the architectural design as well as ground plans and interior. Recent projects range from business headquarters and residential buildings, to monument conservation projects, as well as interior and product design.
