We are kadawittfeldarchitektur. The interdisciplinary approach of our work, linking architecture, interior and product design on the one hand and at the interface of town planning and urban projects on the other hand, reflects the full range of our creative output.
kadawittfeldarchitektur develops added value space. We create architecture with added value space for living, communication and work environments. In the way we deal with volumes, materials, structures and functions, we strive to integrate our schemes into their surroundings with the objective of creating contemporary and sustainable architecture and meeting the needs of both the users and the general public.
kadawittfeldarchitektur builds. Projects like the main railway station in Salzburg/AT, the headquarters of the AachenMünchener insurance company in Aachen/DE, the Adidas Laces building in Herzogenaurach/DE and the Grimmwelt Museum in Kassel/DE are representative of our numerous projects in Germany and abroad.
The new buildings for the DFB and its academy form a common campus in the Frankfurt city forest. The required space - ncluding administrative areas, a media centre, conference rooms, athlete residences, a college and state-of-the-art sports facilities - is arranged in several blocks around individual sports fields and exterior zones under a single large roof structure. The north-south-oriented, covered sports boulevard connects all areas and provides a clear layout. It has been designed as a communicative link to not only encourage informal meetings and invite passers-by to linger and watch the activities outdoors, but also to bring the two independent institutions, administration and academy, together.
The research and development building with 1700 working places is situated at the adidas World of Sports campus in Herzogenaurach. Its clearly contoured volume positively invites the surrounding campus to find a continuation within its interior, an atrium with a controlled climate. Lined up in a circular arrangement, the office areas with their large glazed surfaces open onto the atmospheric inner space and the remarkable landscaped space. Within the atrium the connecting walkways, “Laces”, efficiently open up access to all office areas without the need to cross through other departments. At the same time they transform the atrium into a creative center of the building that provides an identity.

The office tower in Sindelfingen close to Stuttgart is embedded into the existing structural landscape and stands out as a representative landmark clearly visible from the motorway not far away. The foyer, the hub of the new building, is located at the junction between tower and its annex. The design of the office tower is based on the idea of a vertical campus. The central element is a transparent, full-height zone, which rises from the forecourt and is characterised by a network of single and multi-storey communication zones. The vertical campus is not only a distinct feature in the facade, it also offers employees a differentiated arrangement of space for varied styles of communication in the interior.
