With decades of experience in planning and the realization of complex construction projects, we offer unique architectural solutions for cultural buildings, office, hotel, residential, education, retail and health. The functional attributes of our designs and the durability of the construction are the basis for an economical, as well as ecological use of available resources. As such, our office attaches great importance on selecting appropriate materials and ensuring handcrafted quality of all construction work – down to the smallest detail.

Headquarters of the Federal Intelligence Service, Berlin

A new building with a GFA of approx. 260,000 sqm, for around 4,000 employees of the Intelligence Service, was erected on a 10 ha site in Berlin. The primary challenge of this task was to integrate the functionally very complex building structure, with its gigantic dimensions, into the property, whilst taking into account the special safety requirements. The internal structure of the complex, circulation, functional allocation of rooms and organisation of flexible spaces are clear and simple.

Office and hotel high-rise at Güterplatz, Frankfurt

The outstanding location is reflected within the design of a sculpture that will remain in the viewer's memory due to its geometry, but above all through its unmistakable crystalline structure. The different uses - hotel and office - require an appropriate structure. Instead of a visible stacking of functions, which would contradict the vertical elegance, a façade with a consistent, superordinate design will be created in accordance with the significance of the building.

High-rise at Nordhafen, Berlin

The design is characterised by the height gradated form and the three sweepingly spread star-shaped building sections. The result is a series of surfaces with varying lengths which bring rhythm into the approx. 120-metre-long façade. This formal consistency allows a well-proportioned, nonhierarchical building ensemble to be created, which assigns a clear identity to the user in both multi-tenant and single-tenant letting. Two circulation cores can generate connected areas of up to 2,500 sqm.
