Hotel am Steintor Hannover, Germany

Approximately 170 rooms and retail space on the lower floors are planned for the Hotel am Steintor. The new building is to form an edge to the open square and thus enhance its quality. The two-storey and stacked building units, each with their alternating orientation, take up the urban visual axes of the site and provide natural lighting in the access area via airspaces. For the façade, glazed ceramic elements patterned with waves will be arranged in front of a reinforced concrete wall.
