Eike Becker_Architekten work on the future of cities. Their portfolio comprises urban planning, high-rise buildings, cultural and residential structures, offices and hotels.
Since December 1999, Eike Becker and Helge Schmidt have jointly managed the office Eike Becker_Architekten in Berlin. With decades of experience in the design and realization of complex urban building projects, they enthusiastically see each project through to the last screw. The office understands cities as the most complex formation of human society. Cities are much more than a collection of lots, buildings, streets and squares, since their single elements constantly shape spatial and social networks that correspond to each other in an interferential manner. From this increased experience and knowledge of interference the office has coined its own method of thinking and planning: Superferenz.

The portfolio of Eike Becker_Architekten comprises urban planning, high-rise buildings, cultural and residential structures, offices and hotels as well as the conversion of buildings for trade, industry, and housing. Our services include Consulting, General Planning, Urban Development, Interior Architecture and Product Design. We are passionate about the cities of today with its people, public spaces and its endless possibilities for improvement. Everything that surrounds us is planned, built, maybe torn down and re-built. As such, everything is architecture if understood from this perspective. We are excited to take part and help make our cities better cities. Better for many people.
