MIPIM 2019
30th Edition

12 – 15 March 2019
Palais des Festivals et des Congrès
Cannes, France

Established in 1990 MIPIM is the world's foremost real estate market.

MIPIM brings together the most influential players from all major international property markets, offering unrivalled access to the greatest number of high-calibre development projects worldwide.

More than 3.350 exhibiting companies are participating in MIPIM 2019 to concentrate three month worth of business into four intensive days.

About 26,000 participants are expected to attend MIPIM. They represent the entire value chain (e.g. Investors & Financial Institutions, Developers, Cities & Local Authorities, Occupiers, Architects, Hotel groups) and all asset class (e.g. Residential, Healthcare, Hospitality, Logistics & Industrial, Infrastructure, Retail & Leisure, Office and Mixed use).

MIPIM provides a robust platform for business growth through partnerships, project assessment and market intelligence, and fosters innovation by hosting forward-thinking events that provide beneficial, actionable insights on future trends in real estate.

With the strongest economy in the Eurozone, Germany remains the largest market in continental Europe and pivotal to real estate markets overall.

The official opening of the GERMAN PAVILION will take place on 12 March 2019 at 4:30 pm through Consul Wolfgang Thoran of the German Consulate General Marseille, the BAK-Vice President, Prof. Ralf Niebergall and the Chairman of the Board of Bundesstiftung Baukultur, Reiner Nagel.

During the following days there will be different discussion rounds and project presentations.

The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) decides on, and supports, official participations in the Federal Republic of Germany's international trade fairs and exhibition programme. In addition to policy and budgetary issues, the active involvement in the presentation of Germany at international fairs and exhibitions is of prime importance. In a constant dialogue with private-sector partners, the division for international/national trade fairs and exhibitions of the ministry backs the export activities of German industry on international markets.

Furthermore, the "fairs and exhibitions division" is concerned with planning and implementing German participation in world expositions abroad and with major political issues regarding fairs and exhibitions in Germany.

The AUMA - Association of the German Trade Fair Industry represents the interests of the trade fair industry on a national and international level in dealings with parliament, ministries, authorities and other organisations.

The association organises the official German trade fair programme abroad in close cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) and the Ministry of Consumer Protection, Food and Agriculture.

As part of this programme, the Federal Government provides financial assistance for German participations at foreign events, but also for independent presentations by German industry abroad.
