zol - New development of a residential ensemble Zollhafen 1, Mainz
A new 4-storey residential block is going to be built at the historic basin of Mainz' old port. All 70 apartments are aligned with their living areas to the waterfront so all residents can enjoy the tranquility of the canals and the view of the harbor basin. An inner courtyard and different outdoor areas by the water are going to form a new neighborhood. The development concept leads to a large variety of different apartment types with a high level of flexibility in the floor plan design.
Based on the city's building tradition, the residential block will have a locally typical materiality as a facade as well as facade greening in the courtyard areas.
