About us

We are focused on facades.

Priedemann Facade Experts are globally operating engineering offices focusing specifically on the building envelope.

In a unique way, we make our holistic full-service facade expertise available to investors, architects and building contractors. In addition to façade consultancy and third-party execution control, we develop system designs and prepare final shop drawings. We especially emphasise the integration of our expertise in sustainability, research and development, building physics and Digital Twin (BIM).

Mastered facade techniques, bravery to take responsibility, and the passion to chase the seemingly impossible are our strengths. In Asset Transformation projects, we plan energy upgrades economically and ecologically, based on life-cycle criteria. We take responsibility for practically implementing the revitalisation or adaptation of use, based on careful examination and analysis.

Architects and Planners

The building envelope is our expertise – and our contribution to high-performing architecture worldwide.
Whether it is the comprehensive consultancy package or a single engineering discipline, our clients can rely on Priedemann’s expertise throughout all project stages - from architectural competitions and project conceptualisation to the stages beyond commissioning.

We understand the envelope as an interface to almost all adjacent trades. As façade specialists, we consider ourselves the partner of all five main construction participants: the investor/developer, the architect/general consultant, the general contractor and the façade fabricator, extending to the supplier of the envelope’s components & materials.

Priedemann stands for innovative solutions with a practical approach. With experience in sophisticated projects across all climate zones, we contribute to research and engage in professional knowledge exchange. Priedemann drives the quest for innovative and sustainable façade solutions, developing specific and customised products. We develop and test these products together with our partners from the science and research industry.

IPAI Campus Heilbronn: Mastering Complexity at Scale

Architects: MVRDV, kwa | Owner/Developer: Schwarz Immobilien Service

Covering around 30 hectares, the IPAI Campus in Heilbronn, Germany, is taking shape as a new landscape for AI‑driven research and digital innovation. From the earliest planning stages, the project has demanded rapid decision-making, close collaboration, and the ability to synchronise across multiple disciplines. A key aspect is its interdisciplinary nature: unlike in classical façade consulting, we are acting as the façade general planner. Managing up to eight buildings in parallel, we unite concept development, technical planning, detailed design, system optimisation, and tender documentation into one seamless process. With diverse façade typologies and ambitious architectural intent, every day requires clarity, flexibility, and precise coordination. Working closely with architects, the client, and the early‑engaged contractor, the IPAI Campus shows how interdisciplinary planning and technical depth create truly future‑ready façade solutions.

Sugar Valley Munich – A Forward Looking Façade Concept

Architect: COBE | Owner/Developer: Salvis Consulting AG

Sugar Valley Munich is one of Germany’s most sustainable urban developments, recognised with a LEED‑ND Platinum certification. While the eleven buildings each express their own architectural identity, it is the façades that unify the ensemble and strongly shape the district's ecological performance.

We joined the project during the architectural competition, supporting the client as a jury member, and continued directly into Work Stage 1. This early involvement ensured that sustainability, material selection and technical feasibility were integrated from the outset and aligned with the design teams.

The resulting façade concept enhances user comfort, incorporates green façades, reduces CO₂ emissions, improves the microclimate, and gives the quarter its contemporary character.

Sugar Valley demonstrates the value of early façade planning: embedding ecological ambitions, strengthening design coherence and enabling robust, future‑ready building envelopes.

Close the Loop: Facade Refurbishment for Future‑Ready Buildings

Every building tells a story, shaped by its façade. With “Close the Loop”, we view the building envelope across its full life cycle, unlocking the value of existing façades to reduce CO₂ emissions, improve energy performance, and preserve architectural identity.

Drawing on over 30 years of expertise, we pair innovative design with technical precision to create practical, future‑oriented solutions. We also refurbish buildings during ongoing operation, using low‑impact interventions supported by clear life‑cycle and risk analyses to safeguard long‑term asset value.

Our work – from Heiligendamm and InterContinental Berlin to Munich’s Archaeological State Collection, Frankfurt’s Eurotower and high‑rises in Bremen and Berlin –  demonstrates how circular and, where possible, minimally invasive methods can deliver resilient, future‑ready buildings.

22 Years at Your Side – Facade Consulting for Ambitious Architecture in KSA

Saudi Arabia is one of the fastest‑growing construction markets worldwide, with extreme heat, UV exposure, sand abrasion, and complex geometries demanding façades that deliver long‑term performance. Our strength lies in mastering these conditions while enabling ambitious architectural visions.

For many years, we have supported major projects across the Kingdom, starting with Al Muhaidib Headquarters Dammam), KAFD Sports Stadium (Jeddah), Ayjaad Beer Balilah Hotel (Mekkah), and several key buildings in the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh – projects that continue to shape our expertise.

We work collaboratively: listening, analysing, and designing solutions that reduce risk and realise architectural intent. Combining technical know‑how with local insight, we deliver façades that endure harsh climates, optimise resources, and remain resilient over time.

Architecture That Thrives Through Shared Vision

Over the years, we have had the joy and privilege of collaborating with many inspiring architectural partners – from F+P Architects on the Tocumen Int. Airport Terminal in Panama to Pelli Clarke Pelli in Abu Dhabi, KEO Consultants on the Qatar Petroleum District in Doha, or UNStudio on Karle Hub4 at Karle Town Centre in Bangalore. These are just a few among many talented national and international architects whose creativity continually enriches and motivates our work.

Today, we proudly continue this journey with Killa Design, renowned for bold, visionary and highly intricate architectural forms. As façade and BMU consultants, we support them from the earliest design stages, translating parametric geometries into buildable and maintainable façade systems through precise 3D geometry optimisation.

We are currently partnering on an exciting, potentially award‑winning Middle Eastern project. While details remain confidential, we are honoured to contribute to such an exceptional vision.
