Warft Treuberg, Hallig Langeness

Surrounded by the sea and sometimes even washed over, the Halligen are un-diked marshland islands in the middle of the North Frisian Wadden Sea, a UNESCO biosphere area. A new development on the Treuberg dwelling mound must withstand these special conditions. A market place will be built here to supply the inhabitants of the Hallig with everyday necessities, an infirmary, permanent living space, and the two building yards of the municipality and the State Office for Coastal Protection.

Überseering 17, Hamburg

How do living and working landscapes have to be designed today in order to meet the demands of the times in terms of sustainability and flexibility and the changing working and living conditions. Our design develops an urban building ensemble that makes a flexible and adaptable building structure possible. Within the three buildings different ways of working and living will be possible.

Kollektiver Block, Potsdam

The history of Gartenstadt Drewitz as a "Plattenbausiedlung" is characterized by the back and forth between two constants that determine its character: Composition and Efficiency. The design consists of a coherent hybrid-timber building structure that integrates into the existing development and, through a fine gradation from public to private, defines the threshold areas from the street to the apartment.
